- Cassidy Sanderson No hotel packages cause people were also camping at our wedding. We did my grandma's butter mints (homemade in boxes with stickers that had our wedding info). We also did beer koozies which were a hit. We took like 5 cause I wanted them. Totally promot...See More
- Kristen Varga Recently went to a wedding with no favors, they donated to meaningful charities instead. I liked that the money was put to good use, and not into an item that I might just throw away.
- Amanda Speer We got a welcome package with little snacks, a cute sign that said something along the lines of "don't disturb, partied at Jessica and Bens wedding" to hang on our door and waters. Another wedding our name cards were placed onto little stemless wine glasses with their wedding date which i love I still use them! And also mason jars that were used for our drinks for the night we were able to take home too
- Jeremy Turpen We gave each person a live monarch butterfly in an envelope to release with a wish... Yup. Cute wedding favor received was a mix cd full of your best jams!
- Shannon Drake The bet favors are something that speaks to the couple. I went to a wedding and they gave fresh ground coffee from their favorite local spot in a little burlap bag. So unique to that couple! At another they gave scones and jam from a local bakery a favorite of the couple. That way everyone had delicious breakfast the next day! I've been to many weddings and these were by far the best! Good luck
- Shannon Drake I also got a hotel snacks basket with a schedule of the wedding weekend events along with recos on things to do and restaurants to try
- Neon Crystal McCarthy I didn't do favors but instead hired a caricature artist so everyone could take home their own drawing.
- Brittany Amborn We did custom coasters. Our monogram (with names reversed) worked out to be BAR so we went with it. Guests loved them! We have a bunch left over but I think it's the first time ever we don't care because for once they will all get used!
- Megan Bay I loved Nicole Yarwasky Dillman's favors! I still have mine on display
- Jennifer H Young One friend made jam for wedding favors and another had shot glasses made that were really pretty.
- Raelene Atkinson Teerlink I went to a wedding that gave out a cd of all their favorite songs. Thought that was unique
- Jeremy Turpen Environmentalist friend gave reusable water bottles that were personalized--I use mine often so that was cool
- Shana Hooker We gave candy favors and had a photo booth so everyone got to take home their picture strips
- Andrea Wagenaar Mullin We had beach them, our favors acted as place cards we bought sand dollars and calligraphied names on the back side. As far as hotel packages we did snacks, maps, stuff to do but also tried to keep a bit of them with one of the snacks being seashell Belgium chocolates. For those traveling far or staying a bit we also did bottles of wine with wine openers from hotel.
- Crystal Rose Appling Martin We had glass picture coasters and used them as place cards, putting the names (color coded for the wait staff based on the entree choice) where you typically would place a picture. We also filled shot glasses with monogrammed M&Ms, but we had TONS that weren't taken (I brought the left overs in to Laurelwood for the staff!).
- Cindy Ponciano The photo booth is pretty cool because your names and the wedding date will be stamped on the picture. I've also received their engagement picture/small wallet size in heart shaped frame. I liked that as well.
- Jenifer Marie I did a coffee/tea to go bar with custom travel mugs with our monogram!
- Crystal Rose Appling Martin My favorite favor that I got was a split of wine (the wedding was at a winery). It was awesome lol
- Ashley Thomsen We met at Starbucks, so we gave chocolate covered espresso beans as favors (the "Tuxedo" blend - white, milk, dark chocolate - very wedding appropriate ).
One of my favorite favors was a picture of my hubby and I in the PhotoBooth. I've been to a lot of weddings and can't remember the other stuff, which is why I LOVE the idea of donating to a charity or giving a "mix tape"! So cute!! - Valerie Wood Reeves As a planner I know a welcome bag at the hotel is very appreciated. Water w personal label home made kettle corn mints. .. in your theme. But....hotels are wishy washy so really be on your block sales person.
